What is Herpaflor?
Herpaflor is a natural treatment for the outbreak of herpes. It contains a mix of natural ingredients designed to boost your immune system and believed to be effective treatments for herpes. The company claims the product is effective for treating both genital herpes (HSV-1) and cold sores (HSV-2.) Herpaflor’s ingredients come in both internal pills as well as a solution for topical treatment.
With all the claims out there about the effectiveness of so-called natural remedies, the best thing to do is look at the ingredients each of these products has to determine if they can be effective. Herpaflor’s main ingredients include: RMA Polysaccharides, Zinc Sulfate, Prunella Vulgaris, L-Lysine, Opuntia Streptacantha, Glycyrrhiza(from Licorice Root), Sage Lemon Balm (Melissa Officinalis), Reishi Mushroom Tea Tree Essential Oil, Spirulina, Oregano Essential Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil, Peppermint Essential Oil, Chaparral (Larrea tridentata) and Aloe Vera.
Is it Effective?
There is little to no scientific research into the effects each of these chemicals, herbs, and extracts has on the herpes virus but the ingredients in Herpaflor are many of the natural remedies believed to have an effects on the disease. There is, however, a great deal of evidence supporting the use of some of these ingredients in boosting your body’s natural immunity which can, in turn, reduce and prevent outbreaks. Many of these ingredients can also help relieve some of the pain and inflammation associated with an outbreak.
Herpaflor does claim that the active ingredients in the product can not only relieve symptoms of an outbreak but actually kill the herpes virus, thus preventing future outbreaks.
Many researchers would agree that you can have too much of a good thing. There aren’t many sources who will criticize Herpaflor extensively, but the most common drawback of this product over many others is the use of too many ingredients. The barrage of homeopathic remedies limits the body’s ability to assimilate the full potency of each ingredient leading to an overall less effective product. This is debated widely by both proponents and detractors but seems to be the main area for concern with this particular product.
As mentioned before, there is little research behind the connection between these ingredients and the treatment on herpes. There seems to be a general consensus among the homeopathic community that these are the most effective ingredients but there is little in the way of science to back up those claims.
This is one of the best rated products in this market. It is difficult to find any real independent opinions but those available seem to be positive. As with all homeopathic remedies, effectiveness can vary widely and can often be attributed to placebo effect. Without independent research, customer testimonial are the best way to gauge how well the product works. Assuming these testimonials are legitimate, this product seems to be very popular and at least marginally effective.
